This 1 day DataMan Workshop teaches you how to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of your factory production line with an engineered machine vision system in a hands-on training environment. You will learn the fundamentals of 1D and 2D codes and how to program the DataMan solutions from Cognex, the leader in machine vision. Bring your own parts and we can discuss your application in class. This class includes a free lunch as well!

• Demonstrate how to connect the DataMan to the network
• Capture an image, review its types of 1D & 2D codes and structure
• How to decode multiple codes
• Format output data
• Review code quality metrics
• Configure a Discrete Input and a Discrete Output line
• Describe the use of communications within DataMan
• Utilize the various tools available to deploy the system
• Explain the fundamentals of Lighting and Optics
